Every great musical event is not just the stage, the lights, and the singers. It is also the team of people working behind the scenes to make that scene happen. In this post, we introduce you to two key figures of „New Sounds” – our management team. They take care of every detail and turn every possible scenario into a reality. It is in their hands that you put your talents.
This is a passionate duo that has been working together for a long time. Together, they create the perfect balance of elements, full of optimism and energy.
Dominika Narożna – Director of the Festival
It was from her that everything began. The institution-person. In her vocabulary, the phrase „impossible” does not exist. She can handle most things „yesterday,” and the rest in „5 minutes.”.
She is currently involved in the world of science and the media as a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and a member of the Board of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation. She is an expert in image building with many years of experience gained in television and as a press spokesperson. She ensures that the Festival is at the highest possible level and that everyone knows what „New Gossip” is all about.
Privately, however, she excels as a vocalist, as evidenced by the music project she co-created, „Mirra Rosz.” This experience allowed her to get to know the scene from the inside and understand how to create a safe and professional performing space for vocalists.
Maciej Muraszko – Artistic Director
He chooses the songs, leads the Jury and creates the arrangement. He is also the first to evaluate your submitted performances.
An extremely esteemed musician, composer and producer. His artistic achievements speak for themselves. He collaborated with legends of the Polish scene, including Marzena Rodowicz, Zbigniew Wodecki, Maciej Maleńczuk and Krzysztof Dębski. In the past, he was also associated with the Poznań Entertainment Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television, the Poznań Philharmonic and the National Philharmonic.
His contribution to Polish musical culture is crowned by the statuette of Fryderyk standing in his home; he received it for his outstanding album by Stanisława Celińska, „Malinowa…”. You can be sure that your recordings will reach the hands of an absolute professional and expert.
